Well what a night it was folks, the weather
was perfect the crowd was intensified by the spirit of the wild that
had
entered this vacation town surrounded by the Sierra Nevada's. Ted came
out carrying the American Flag and we
said the pledge of allegiance. Then the
show started with Free For All. Ted was pumped full of energy as always.
He
jammed alot of the old classics including an updated version of KMA. I think the
highlight of the show is when he
did Strangle Hold, Ted never fails at
captivating the crowd with this tune. And it sounded better then it ever
has.
He talked about going a killing a mountain lion while he was in the
neighborhood and maybe even a bear. When a
large dark cloud formed over to
the east he mentioned that maybe this was the spirit of the wild coming in.
The
cloud never let loose I think it knew better. We met a couple of TNUSA
members there and it was a great nite. We
tried to get back to see Ted &
Shemane but it was obvious Ted had plans to go try for that mountain lion or
bear.
Now for the Cooper part of the show. WOW
what a difference between the 2. Being both Ted & Alice are from
Detroit,
the same age and are both in the rock n roll music biz. You could tell time had
taken it's toll on Alice. Ted
looked like he was 20yrs younger then him. He
played the classics in his signature makeup, brought on the snake
for an
apperance, etc, etc. I got hit upside the head with a flying drum stick, my head
is still red today. And then
some guy 3 rows back got the drumstick (that
didn't seem fair) Had to deal with slobbering drunks almost spilling
their
drinks all over. Getting slapped on the A$$ by some drunk hussy. Hubby asked me
if I wanted to leave after
Ted but I didn't. Maybe I should've it would of
saved me from Alice's fan club.
Ted you killed!!!!!!!
Here's a link for pics from the Lake Tahoe show, enjoy!
