COMMENTS &
NOTES:
- House of Culture (Kulttuuritalo)
was full of listeners (about 1500
persons).
- Ted Nugent was relaxed and
talkative. He gave many friendly comments for the Helsinki
audience.
- Nugent was very loud. Sound level
status was “Flesh & Blood” over 100dB almost all the time. The sound
_quality_ was very good.
- Nugent used the white Byrdland
during songs 1-3. Then he changed to the Les Paul and played songs 4-17.
During encore Great White Buffalo back to the
Byrdland.
- Nice to hear new songs in
the set à waiting for
CD release. Interesting solos & improvisations was also
heard.
- Nugent: “I have travelled all
around the world but where have you been?” (The very first gig in Finland).
Anyway Ted promises that he will be
back.
- Nugent before Cat Scratch Fever:
“This is the sexiest song in the whole fucking
world.”
- Nugent before Stranglehold: “The
number 1 guitar lick in the world”
- SUMMARY: No gimmicks – only ROCK.
Ted was great. Ultimate rock & roll show. It was just what the doctor
ordered. A good selection of old and new
songs.
