COMMENTS & NOTES:
· Ted Nugent was relaxed
and talkative (as always).
· Nugent was very loud.
Maybe volume was a bit too loud for that PA? (Behind Ted was 12*Peawey.)
· Nugent used brown Byrdland
from Paralyzed to Just What The Doctor Ordered. Then he changed to the
“USA Flag” Les Paul and played from Wang Dang Sweet Poontang to Hey Baby
with it. The rest of the songs were played with the black Byrdland. No
PRS guitars.
· Mendoza sang in Just
What The Doctor Ordered, Hey Baby & Stranglehold.
· Nugent: “Sorry for long
delay visiting in Sweden but I have been busy.” (Last gig in Sweden 1978).
· Nugent before Cat Scratch
Fever: “This is the world’s best guitar riff.”
· Nugent before Stranglehold:
“I lied. This is the world’s best guitar riff.”
· In the end of Great
White Buffalo: “I’ll sacrifice my buffalo”. Then Nugent shot his black
Byrdland guitar with bow and flaming arrow. (Guitar change before shot?
Byrdland seemed to contain also earlier holes :-)
· ‘Rawdogs & Warhogs’
promises _good_ for the coming Craveman CD.
· SUMMARY: Very worthwhile hard-hitting ultimate rock & roll show. It was just what the doctor ordered. I liked especially Stranglehold and Motorcity Madhouse.
